Pet Policy

We happily accept cats and dogs at Rosemont Inn; dogs only at Rosehaven Cottages. It is necessary for anyone staying at Rosemont Inn & Cottages to tell us about their pets in advance. A few rules apply so please read the following and make certain all are acceptable to you.

A $30.00 pet fee is charged per stay. This includes any number of pets we have accepted in advance and covers the duration of the stay.

Pets are not allowed in the dining room at Rosemont Inn at breakfast time. This is a health regulation and in consideration of other guests who may not be as enlightened about pets as we are.

Dogs must be restrained either on a leash or in a carrier any time they are in the common or public spaces of the Inn or Cottages. Pooper-scooper equipment is highly visible and available in the gardens and each pet parent is expected to do their own clean up. Dogs should be crated, if you plan to leave them alone in your room or cottage. If they are noisy in sadness over your absence, we will contact you and expect you to return to calm their fears. The confinement also curtails any naughty temptation to do damage to furniture, bedding, etc.

Pet parents are responsible for any damage to furniture, furnishings and garden plantings. If there is damage, you will be notified immediately upon our discovery. Of course, we prefer that pet parents make us aware of any damage. Repair or replacement will be assessed and the card on file charged.

Cancellation Policy

• All Reservations Secured with Credit Card
• All Reservations Charged to the Credit Card on File at the Cancellation Date
• A Different Card Can Be Used at Check-In; the 3% Processing Fee Will Be Charged
• 5 day cancellation for weekends at the Inn; 7 day cancellation for weekends in the cottages; 3 Day for Midweek; 10 Day for Holidays & Multiple Room and/or Multiple Night Reservations
• Note: If cancellation requirements are not met, the card is charged for the full amount of the reservation; same applies to early departures and no-shows.
• Non-Refundable One Day Rate Required for Whole House Bookings; 30 Day Cancellation for Balance of Stay

Weather Policy

Standard Weekends & Week Days: If roads into the city and the airport are closed, refunds will be made. This Refund Policy does not extend to events that are canceled. If the event is rescheduled, we will issue a Gift Certificate for that date.

Holidays: The Cancellation Policy stated will be in effect regardless of road and airport conditions. If a guest chooses to reschedule we will work with them to secure comparable accommodations at a later date.

Non-Destination Weather: We cannot be responsible for weather conditions at point of departure and our standard cancellation policy will apply.

*A Guest Room disinfectant and airing charge of $100-$250 will be charged to the credit card of anyone who smokes in a Guest Room. We have a limited number of rooms and many people are allergic to cigarette smoke. Guests are welcome to smoke on porches or in the garden and ash trays are provided.
